Hello BlindAspie,

The Button on the trigger of TWOK Phaser makes no difference.
And the Type I phasers are the same.
You can not use the Type II Without the Type I connected.
I myself like TMP better, Because of the Different colored lights.

Great review startrekfan76. I ordered the TWOK Phaser because I like more the metallic pewter -finish- like than the TMP stone gray color also I personally think the white lights gives a touch of more realism hehe Anyway, it´s only my opinion I want to know yours Congratulations for your TWOK and TMP “babies”

I like the wok better I have both. the color looks better on the wok. the TMP looks like the playmate color.
also the p-1′s are interchangeable between each phaser.
I do like the magnet and how and it sounds when you connect the -1 to the p-2.

I just received my WOK Phaser today from Amazon – overnight shipped less than $24 and I love it – blows away the PM version from 1996, and I just wanna tell you, no offense, but I won’t pay $20 extra for multicolored LEDs – I could do it myself if I could get the darn screw covers off the Type I Phaser :)
I like both Phasers, but $20 extra just isn’t worth it – no offense of course.

were did you get your facks from about the setting.
1 is light stun 2 is heavy stun 3 is heat as used in movie . and 4 is disinergrate but good jod, if you like the phasers and communicators go see my collection jsf525 if you dont have time I think you will like part 5 of 5 the best

Just wondering, what would happen if you were to attach the TMP Type 1 phaser to the rest of the WOK type 2? Can they even fit together?

Just got a TMP one today.

A guy on a forum just bought clear acrylic paints and painted the led ‘windows’ on the top…he used red and yellow and they looked really nice. Better than breaking into the damn thing. The TMP version is much better though….TWOK’s was never silver, the original prop was blue matte…whereas TMP was anthracite grey, pretty much as it is with the DST out of the box. But yeah…mod your TWOK with CLEAR (I have to stress clear!) acrylic paints and you’ll have a darn nice phaser!
